Hi, I am Wes LInsley, head trainer and owner of Alpha Family Fitness and Wylie Boxing Club. I’ve taken all of the knowledge and experience I’ve gained with my background in professional boxing and strength coaching over the past 20 years and turned it into two of the best training programs you will find.

Whether you chose our boxing or strength program, you will be getting the best day in and day out. My approach to coaching and programming is a no nonsense style, we train hard and are intentional with our time in this gym.

I also provide personal training for those that aspire to be competitive in the sport of boxing and for established athletes that want to stay strong and quick during the off seasons of various sports. I have trained over 20 Golden Glove Champions, two World Champions, and several other tournament champions in the amateur circuit.

Serving the Wylie and surrounding areas since 2007, I pride myself on the consistency Alpha Family Fitness and Wylie Boxing Club offers. Come see why we are the leaders of the pack!!

Dale Jensen

I was born in Toowoomba, Australia, where I spent most of my childhood playing baseball. At the age of 18 I moved to Denver, Colorado to play summer baseball after which I moved on to play Junior College baseball for Waldorf College in Iowa. I finished up my college education and baseball career at Division II School Southern Arkansas University, leading the team in hitting at 435 and as the scholar athlete of the year. As I’ve progressed in my professional career as a CPA, fitness and health has always been a central focus and belief of mine as one of the most important aspects for overall wellness and mental strength in life, which I have found as one of the primary drivers for my success as a partner at Weaver. I have been part of the Wes Linsley gym family since August 2009. Over such time I have had the opportunity to find a community of friendship that looks to support each other. I obtained my CrossFit Level One certificate and look to use this knowledge and the leadership knowledge I’ve obtained in my professional career to provide a positive influence on the lives of those I work, train and interact with.

Tanya Linsley

Hi! I am Tanya Linsley, a board certified and Masters prepared Registered Nurse, certified nutrition coach and personal trainer.

I am an assistant coach in our strength program, a personal trainer for those that want attention outside of our group settings and the head coach for the nutrition program.

Starting a new health and fitness journey can be difficult and confusing. Advice for health guidance and fitness can be found anywhere, but does it all really apply to you? My approach and background allows me to go beyond traditional training/coaching and help you build a program that is specific to your individual needs and lifestyle while making sure your health is put first.

I enjoy helping others learn how to stop restrictive eating and leverage their food choices to achieve a healthier life, higher fitness levels and sustainable fat loss.

Hi, I’m Cody McDonald, certified personal trainer here at Alpha Family Fitness. I’ve spent the last 16 years in the gym being coached and gaining the knowledge needed to meet my goals and now I’m ready to help you meet yours!

Being an athlete for many years myself I know the dedication and hard work it takes to meet the goals set for you. Together we can instill in you the tools and discipline it takes to reach your full potential. Whether you’re brand new to strength training or a veteran looking to dive deeper, I’m here to help you thrive!

BRIAN BARNHOUSE

Hi, I’m Brian Barnhouse, assistant coach for the Wylie Boxing Club at Alpha Family Fitness. I’ve been boxing since February of 2017 under Coach Wes. I take pride in this position while taking the knowledge and skills I have learned in this gym and in my experience competing to guide others in learning the fundamentals of boxing, whether they are here to get a good workout in or aspire to compete one day. 

Connecting with the younger kids and watching them learn is one of my favorite parts of being a coach. Outside of boxing I enjoy staying active playing football.
