Hi, I am Wes LInsley, head trainer and owner of Alpha Family Fitness and Wylie Boxing Club. I’ve taken all of the knowledge and experience I’ve gained over the past 20 years and turned it into two of the best training programs you will find. Whether you chose our boxing or strength program, you will be getting the best day in and day out. My approach to coaching and programming is a no nonsense style, we train hard and are intentional with our time in this gym. I was born in Toowoomba, Australia, where I spent most of my childhood playing baseball. At the age of 18 I moved to Denver, Colorado to play summer baseball after which I moved on to play Junior College baseball for Waldorf College in Iowa. I finished up my college education and baseball career at Division II School Southern Arkansas University, leading the team in hitting at 435 and as the scholar athlete of the year. As I’ve progressed in my professional career as a CPA, fitness and health has always been a central focus and belief of mine as one of the most important aspects for overall wellness and mental strength in life, which I have found as one of the primary drivers for my success as a partner at Weaver. I have been part of the Wes Linsley gym family since August 2009. Over such time I have had the opportunity to find a community of friendship that looks to support each other. I obtained my CrossFit Level One certificate and look to use this knowledge and the leadership knowledge I’ve obtained in my professional career to provide a positive influence on the lives of those I work, train and interact with.
